Last post of the year!

So that's right here is the last post of the year! It's almost the end of 2014 and I hope that everyone has had a great year. Gradually celebrations around the world are taking place with big fireworks displays but I have decided this year to stay at home and celebrate with the family which will be nice. Let the drinks flows!

Thanks to everyone who has viewed my blog this year and I look forward to continuing the blog for you guys to read next year. Hope you 2015 is exciting, fruitful and good for you, let's hope it is a better year than 2014.

So it's Christmas time!

Well ladies and jelly beans, it's almost Christmas time. While if you look at the date and time of this post it will show that I posted it on Christmas Day, this post is in fact meant to be for Christmas Eve. 

As I have not slept yet for me Christmas Day has not yet arrived. It's getting exciting though to be able to spend the day with family and those I care about. I love It for the laughter and fun we have. Everything is set ready, the food is prepared, I am looking forward to dinner, I love Turkey.

I also want to spare a thought for those less fortunate than me but I hope the find peace and goodwill this festive period. I have them in my prayers and hope that whatever faith they have or whatever they believe in provides them with support.

Well now I have said everything I wanted to say, I guess it is time for me to head to bed and take a trip to noddington, in the land of sleep.

Bedtime

So I have posted for a while so thought I should perhaps catch up a bit. I have been doing some website design recently which has been interesting but time consuming yet I have enjoyed it and learnt some new stuff so all's cool there.

Other than that I have been getting ready for Christmas which is also exciting, I love Christmas for the laughter, family getting together, having a great time and sharing even moment with those you love and care about. 

I have to be up again in a few hours as I am off swimming again with a mate who is training with me to a charity swim during the summer next year. I will tell you more about it as it gets closer.

A lovely day

So I thought I would do an early post today rather than leaving it until later. So nothing much exciting  happened recently but I thought I would still post to keep everyone up to date with whats going on. 

I have had some exciting news regarding my radio show which is cool. I have been approached by another couple of stations wanting my show on their station, so this means I have to make my show syndicated. I am loving the sound of this because it means we are finally becoming popular and increasing our listenership. We are making some changes to the broadcast system to enable us to stream our show out to that many people at the same time. It is going to be challenging for our little show but with careful planning and some technical know how from friends we will make. As things happen I will post changes and updates here so you can check out the progress.

Well today is very cold but that is not a surprise considering it is December, but just to make it even more confusing it is really bright sunshine outside which is lovely but I am not loving the wind that has come with it.

Mobile post

So I have got around to another post. It suddenly came to mind to do it while out and about so I thought I would do it now.

I have been studying hard but wow this unit is a little dull. I prefer slight practical and slight theory to keep things fresh. This is pure theory.

Plus I am cold. Normally I don't feel the cold but this year seems to be exceptionally cold or just taken us by surprise.

Busy day but got loads sorted!

Well today has been cool, I have had a relaxing day out and about doing stuff getting jobs sorted that I have missed during the week.

Did a bot of shopping which I know is mega exciting but it did mean I got steak for tea, really fancied it. I had it with chips, peas and onion rings. Now normally I only do starters at restaurants so I thought I would treat myself tonight as I really fancied loaded jacket skins too.

Nice bacon and cheese loaded jacket skins with sour cream for starter followed by the steak mentioned above. Then this evening I have been manically editing my radio show into a podcast so it can be a syndicated show on other stations too! How cool is that.

Finally got around to posting again

So here I am again, I have finally managed to get around to posting another blog entry. I have been meaning to get more and more entries on here but time has not been very kind to me just recently, it has been passing far too quickly and I don't seem to have got very much done.

So recently I have been doing some studying, working and not very much recreation type stuff. I have however been getting a bug for playing footy again. I go through these phases where I love to play football and just want to play football all the time which for me is very odd, but let's just go with it while I want to play.

Plus I have been back on my radio show this week after having a couple of weeks break which was fantastic both to be back but also to have had the time off, I kinda didn't to go back as I enjoyed being off, but I also had fun being back on air. So talking of bugs, I have also been coming down with a flu/cold like bug which has not been pleasant or helpful either. It started with sore throat feeling, then it moved onto semi booked nose, which then developed into aches and pains in limbs and joints. I felt like I was 125. Now it has just left me with a blocked ear and block sinuses. Lovely!!

A couple of days have past

Hi again guys,

Sorry for not posting for a couple of days but it has been hectic. You know how life is, a bit of this and a bit of that.

Well I have done a bit of reading, a bit of website updates for people plus some work on graphics for a website too so all fun and games here! That hopefully is all over and done with now fo another week. So I think this weekend more reading will take place and some updates to my other blog will hopefully happen over the weekend.

Yesterday's post

So I forgot to post anything yesterday but as this is only supposed to be a bit of fun I won't worry about it too much. Nothing much exciting happened yesterday to be honest, just another day basically. 

However excitement for today, which I will share with you all in a post later tonight!

Why this name for my blog

Well I shall start from the beginning. I have had a blog for my hobby of old buildings and history for roughly 2 years but I thought it was time to start a blog for my own personal ramblings. I felt it was better to have another blog for this sort of thing.

So why the title of A Jay Bird's Eye view? 

Well the answer to that is this blog will be my aspect, view and thoughts of the world around me and as my nickname for the last 10 years has been Jay Bird I felt it was appropriate to have a play on words and use my nickname at the same time. I guess you have heard of the saying 'A Birds Eye View'  so this is my view and therefore a Jay Birds Eye View is my view of the world and hence the title of the blog.

I aim to update this blog as much as possible.
